PLEASE JOIN RABBI HOWARD for a weekly discussion of Pirke Avot, the Sayings of the Fathers. This portion of the Mishnah — the historic record of Jewish law from the 2nd Century C.E. — contains the most famous and impactful passages of rabbinic wisdom ever assembled. You do not need Hebrew fluency or any background in Jewish textual analysis. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to wrestle with our past, present, and future.
