To Parents of the 2012 Bar and Bat Mitzvah Class: Do you need a tallit for your son or daughter? There are three tallitot for sale in the Sisterhood Gift Shop display case. Two of the tallitot are very special, because they were hand made by artists at the YAD L'KASHISH (Lifeline for the Old) Tallit Workshop in Jerusalem. It's a mitzvah to support this wonderful non-profit organization. If you would like to order a tallit, it is important to plan ahead as much as possible. The number of Judaica suppliers has decreased and it may take longer to fill a tallit order. In addition to a tallit, you can order imprinted kippot for the ceremony through the Sisterhood Gift Shop.
