JCC Pre-School - Sara Forster
The children didn?t want to leave the last day! J.C.C. Preschool program at Temple Habonim has much to offer. As a satellite class we participate in a J.C.C. National Program called Peer-K. The Peer-K program is designed to teach ethics to young children using prompts and visuals as well as the actual Pirke Avot text. The hands on lessons which are integrated into the curriculum provide a fun way to learn caring, sharing, kindness, and community. We offer up to five days a week – 9:00 AM to Noon as well as early arrival at 8:00 AM and extended day until 3:00 PM. We also have a Kindergarten Enrichment Program for children in half-day Kindergarten classes. T here are still spaces left for next year?s preschool class – ages 3-5. Summer is over and we had fun celebrating “summer at camp” for the last few weeks. Days were filled with water play, parachute play, picnics, creative art, eating ice pops, cooking cakes, brownies and celebrating Shabbat.
