JCC Pre-School - Sara Forster
We were very excited to start the month with Cathy coming back after her leg operation. The children were happy to see her. We welcomed a new student. Everyone has been kind and welcoming and we are proud of the social skills they are showing as they get to know our new friend. In preparation for Purim, we started to talk about castles. As a literacy activity the children were asked what they already know about castles. We will be using Purim as an opportunity to enhance math skills, and develop creativity as we turn our classroom into Shushan where the story of Esther took place. It's hard to believe that we are getting ready for the next school year (2010-2011). Application material for next year's program are available in the preschool.
