Temple Habonim offers many programs, activities and opportunities to get involved with our community. We encourage and rely upon active participation from our members. There is no better way to feel involved than to be involved.
Our “Time For Me” programs offer our adult congregants a chance to expand their minds. Our teens continue to build their Jewish identities as members of our Youth Group. Our Caring Committee offers assistance to our members at times when support is needed. Our Social Action committee members work on activities which build Tikkun Olam, bettering our world. These are just some of the ways our members are involved at Temple Habonim.
Some ways to volunteer include:
Letting the office know you are available to help with occasional tasks, such as stuffing envelopes, etc.
Sponsoring an oneg, in honor of a loved one on a Yahrzeit or for another occasion.
Get involved with one of our committees:
Adult Education: Create programs of interest for our adult members.
Caring Committee: Volunteer to help support our members at time when assistance may be needed, which might include making a meal or giving a ride to a member.
Education: Ensure that our Religious School continues to offer a strong program for our youth.
Membership: Help prospective members to learn about our community, support new members in getting involved, and provide outreach to introduce us to the community in general.
Social Action: Work on issues of communal concern.
Fill out our volunteer form with your interests and it will get to the right person. Thank you for offering your time.
