Home Gatherings to Meet Rabbi Klein
Our new Rabbi has been meeting with members of Temple Habonim informally in small groups over the summer. Rabbi Klein's goal is to get to know as many members as possible, and to learn our reasons for being a part of the Temple Habonim community, as well as our dreams and hopes for the future. Meetings are scheduled every Tuesday and Wednesday in July and August, with between 12 and 20 people attending each evening. Gatherings are being hosted by 15 families who have graciously opened their homes to us. Nearly 140 families have participated! Not only has Rabbi Klein learned much about us, but in addition congregants have had the opportunity to socialize and learn about one another's history. Much lively discussion has taken place, and new connections have been made between members who may not have known each other previously. The evenings have been a great success, and we thank Rabbi Klein for offering this wonderful opportunity to connect with him and with each other.
