"If I am not for myself, who will be for me? But if I am only for myself, who am I? If not now, when?"
Temple Habonim’s Caring Committee provides support to Temple Habonim families during times of illness, death, birth and other significant life events. This support can include a broad range of potential assistance such as making a meal to drop off, organizing a ride or offering support to a caregiver.
The Caring Committee has begun our mitzvot. To date we have sent cards to those who are ill, condolences to those who have had a loss, and we’re all set to welcome new babies into our Temple Community with a very special gift.
Just as importantly, we ask that each of you share your needs and those of other congregants who might be reluctant to ask. Please let Jodi Sullivan know, firstname.lastname@example.org or 245-6536, or Rabbi Klein if you prefer, so we can help in the most appropriate way.
It is our goal to have many offering support, so that together we can care for each other.
This is a great opportunity for people who want to volunteer but do not want to be involved in a long-standing commitment. We have no meetings and the time commitment is relatively small. If you would like to be involved, please complete the form below.
